What to do on Maui for Valentine's Day 2023

  5. A free hula lesson for all ages will be held at the center stage of the Lahaina Cannery Mall on Tuesday, Feb. 14. The lesson will take place from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m.

  6. Relax with some soothing music:

    • A Valentine's Day celebration at Fleetwoods on Front Street will showcase singer-guitarist Natalie Robles performing soulful music at 7:30 p.m. A separate stage will feature Levi Poasa performing acoustic pop, folk, rock and blues.

    • Eric Gilliom and Vince Esquire, will perform at Frida's Beach Houseaui.com from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 14.

    • Uncle Benny Uyetake will be performing at Kimo's on Thursday, February 9, and Tuesday, February 14, from 6 to 8 p.m.

    • The singer-guitarist Danyel Alana will perform at Hula Grill in Kaanapali on Saturday, Feb. 11, and Sunday, Feb. 12, from 2 to 4 p.m. And Tuesday, Feb. 14, from 6 to 8:30 p.m.

    • Hawaiian entertainer Alika Nako'oka will be performing at Westin Maui's Hale Mo'olelo restaurant on Saturday, Feb. 11, from 5 to 7 p.m. He will also perform on Tuesday, Feb. 14, for Valentine's Day from 5 to 7 p.m.

Some events in Kaanapali & Lahaina leading up to Valentines Day this weekend are below:

  1. Campbell Park will host a free screening of the film "Humpback Whales" on Saturday, Feb. 11, at 7 p.m.

  2. At the Maui Ku'ia Estate Chocolate Factory on Sunday, Feb. 12, from 5 to 7 p.m., singer Sheryl Renee will perform with trumpeter Paul January and drummer Howie Rentzer.

  3. Fleetwood's has Brian Santana playing Monday, Feb. 13, at 7:30 p.m. Santana sings a variety of rock, pop, and classic music.

  4. Grab a gift at the Lahaina Art Society fair on Friday or Saturday, February 10 and 11 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. . The event will take place outside on the lawn near Starbucks in the Lahaina Cannery Mall. Members of the Lahaina Arts Society display their artworks, ranging from jewelry to original paintings.

  5. There will be a free Polynesian cultural performance featuring hula at the Lahaina Cannery Mall from 1 to 2 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 12.
