Ono Tacos - West Maui Center, Lahaina
If you want a good taco with a fresh tortilla and all the fixings, then this is the place to go. Pepe's favorites are the Lengua (Cows Tongue) taco & the shrimp taco but make sure you make that a combo with rice and beans. The Asada (steak) torta or quesadilla is very popular too, along with the veggie. Make sure you use the fresh salsa bar on the side of the truck to fix up your meal. Bring cash, as this is cash only!Earth Aloha Eats - Lahaina Cannery Mall, Lahaina
This place is a gem for vegan food. Pepe’s go-to is the Phish & Chips & the local favorite is Thai chicken tacos, but also the mozzarella sticks & the pulled pork fires are a must for a side. You got to pinch yourself that this is plant based. They have a selection of drinks too, and a Hawaiian Sunset Lemonade is a stunning palette cleanser. Pepe Tip - If you ask super nicely, they have a California Burritto on their secret menu!Hooked - Honokowai Food Truck Park, Kaanapali
Hooked is a great place & location for fish & sunsets. Located at Honokowai food truck park, which is next door to the Honua Kai Resort & Spa, this truck has it all for local seafood. Our favorites are the coconut shrimp & the fresh Mahi Mahi. They also serve fresh poke bowls. If you want the taste of the classic Hawaiian tuna dish, you can try it traditionally or spicy with the spicy ahi poke!Baya Bowls - 741 Waine'e St, Lahaina
Start your morning off right with a coffee and a delicious açaí bowl for breakfast. Each custom bowl comes with fresh local fruits, organic granola & raw Maui honey you can’t go wrong. We usually add Cacao Nibs & Almond butter for an extra boost. Seating is available, but you can stroll down to Front Street and sit by the banyan tree to enjoy your Baya Bowl.Manuela Malasads - 243 Lahainaluna Rd, Lahaina
If you are after a sweet snack, then Maui’s Ultimate Donut is your spot. It is located on the corner of Lahainaluna Rd at 76 Gas Station. Hot malasadas are served daily. This place always has a line and can sell out quickly. Keep an eye out for the special of the day as it frequently changes, but you can’t go wrong with the Haupia & Cinnamon Sugar or the Peanut Butter & Chocolate. Bring cash, as this is cash only!
