Updated Construction Schedule for Molokai Tower Roof Project

PLEASE READ THE CONSTRUCTION NOTICE BEFORE BOOKING BETWEEN APRIL 21, 2025 TO AUGUST 30, 2025

Discounted pricing: Rates have been lowered to reflect this construction. No additional discounts will be provided for bookings made on or before January 8, 2025.

 Acknowledgement: By booking a stay from April 21, 2025 to August 30, 2025 guests acknowledge the construction impact on their visit.  Maui Westside is not liable for these disruptions, and no additional discounts or reimbursements will be provided. 

Mahana Construction Notice:

 Schedule: Please note that construction on the roof of the building will begin on April 21, 2025 and will last approximately 3 months. The planned completion date is August 28th but may need to be extended depending upon the amount of unforeseen issues encountered on the roof slab.

Air Conditioning: The HVAC system for the building will be turned OFF on April 21 and is expected to be returned to service on Jun 27, 2025. However, there is a portable air conditioner unit that has been temporarily installed in the studio to provide cooling, as well as an additional fan.

Excessive Noise: Very noisy work (due to roof demolition) will begin on April 21, 2025and last for approximately thirty days until May 23, 2025. Noisy work may also be extended depending upon the condition of the roof slab. There may be shorter durations of noise throughout the project.

Water: There will be periodic outages of water to the units, but it will be turned off after 10 AM and back on before the end of the construction day at 5 PM. Advance notice, whenever possible, will be given to guests prior to water outage.

Aloha and welcome to Mahana #1003. We named our special getaway "Nani," which means "beauty" in Hawaiian, for the breathtaking view from our ocean-front vacation home. This spacious 10th floor studio condominium is ideal for viewing the famous Maui rainbows and sunsets. From the comfort of your private balcony watch whales, dolphins, and turtles swim by, and enjoy the 180-degree unobstructed view of the ocean, the beach below, and the islands of Lanai and Molokai.

The unit has central air conditioning and a fully equipped kitchen for those who enjoy cooking. The living room has been remodeled with wood flooring, a king-sized bed with high-quality mattress and a new sofa sleeper to accommodate a third person. If you need to work remotely, there is excellent Wi-Fi, a printer and long-distance calling to the United States and Canada. 

The Mahana is located at the northern end of the famous Kaanapali Beach, with miles of beach to explore and calmer water ideal for snorkeling and swimming. The adjacent beach boardwalk, which leads to Whaler's Village and beyond, is perfect for walking or jogging. There are restaurants, food trucks, and a grocery store all within walking distance. Only minutes away by car, you can enjoy a wide range of excellent restaurants from Lahaina north to Kapalua. Whale watching, fishing, snorkeling, and sailing excursions are available at the nearby Whaler's Village, and there are golf courses in Kaanapali and Kapalua. Additionally, West Maui has beautiful hiking trails, horseback riding and volunteering opportunities. 

The Mahana at Kaanapali is a luxurious AAA-approved resort ideal for a romantic getaway, offering a quiet and safe environment for guests of all ages. The resort offers complimentary parking, an oceanfront pool and hot tub, two BBQ grill areas, a complimentary tennis court with pickle ball setup, and a shuffleboard court.
