We hope you are doing well and that you and your loved ones are keeping safe during this unprecedented time.

As Maui moves forward in opening up to guests again, we wanted to let you know that the team at Maui Westside Properties is doing everything possible to make sure you feel safe and confident when returning and choosing to stay with us.

As an Ohana (family) run company we understand the concerns you have when looking to book your next trip to Maui and are taking the necessary steps to ensure the safety and comfort of our staff and all our future guests.

To do this Maui Westside Properties will be implementing contactless check-ins at both the Honua Kai Resort and Kaanapali Shores Resort to help avoid physical contact when possible, along with updating our already high cleaning standards.

NEW THREE STEP CLEANING PROGRAM

STEP 1.

Thorough Standard Deep Clean of the unit, with additional guidance to staff for Centers for Disease Control and Prevention compliance including:

  • Cleaning & Disinfecting with CDC recommended & EPA approved Hospital Grade Cleaner and Disinfectant.
  • All staff will wear face masks and gloves while in the unit.
  • Wiping down all high touch areas such as; light switches, door handles, control buttons, remote controls, digital displays, phones, etc.
  • Cleaning of ceiling fans, molding etc.
  • Using commercially laundered sheets.
  • Continuing to provide disinfecting wipes and cleaning supplies for guest use.

STEP 2.

Sanitization utilizing high powered UV-C light technology in all rooms:

  • Extra UV-C focus on mattresses, pillows, couches, utensil drawers, TV remotes, and other high touch areas.

STEP 3.

Completion Inspection and Disinfection Spray:

  • Focused on hard to reach areas and high touch points.
  • Sealing the entrance door with tamper evident sticker letting guest know no one has entered the room since it was last disinfected.
  • Providing guest with time and date of each step in the cleaning process and date of last check out.

This new program ensures that we are not only meeting but exceeding the current CDC guidelines to help keep your family, and ours, safe. We are monitoring the CDC recommendations daily and are continually looking for additional steps we can take to ensure the safety of our guests and staff.

Our goal is to ensure you feel comfortable and safe while staying with us and we can tailor our Ohana Safe Program to particular needs upon request.
